INSTRUCTIONS
This exercise is designed to create cerebral blood flow to prepare your nervous system for healing through short bursts of physical activity followed by careful breathing.
To get setup, first, capture your Resting Heart Rate. Next, calculate your Target Heart Rate by subtracting your age from 220 and then multiplying that number by 85%.
For example, if you are 30 years old then you would take 220-30 which gives you 190, and then you would multiply 190 by 85% which would give you a target heart rate of 161.5 beats per minute.
With your Resting Heart Rate and Target Heart Rate in hand, you are ready to begin.The objective of this exercise is to get your heart rate up to 85% of your maximum.
